Where do I vote? |

Your Registrar will send you a voter registration card. The card will tell you the name of your precinct and where you will vote. You must always vote in the precinct where you live.

What do I need to do to apply for voter registration? |
The requirements to apply for voter registration are:
- You must be a citizen of the United States of America.
- You must be a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- You must be at least 18 years of age by the next General Election Day.
- If you have been convicted of a felony, your voting rights must have restored by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- If you have been declared mentally incapacitated and have lost your voting rights, your voting rights must have been restored by the circuit court.
- You must provide your social security number (will not be made public, see Section 7 of the Federal Privacy Act).

How often do I need to register? |
|
You must re-register with the registrar of your locality to report a change in name or address. If you are already registered with your current name and address, you do not need to re-register. To maintain an active status on the voter rolls, you must vote at least once every two Federal elections.
