Emergency Communications work is difficult but rewarding, allowing employees to truly make a difference in the lives of fellow citizens. The department is manned 24/7/365. The job requires a combination of public service commitment and strong technical skills that can be learned on the job during a training period. Some Responsibilities Include:
- Supervision of incarcerated persons;
- Enforcement of rules and regulations;
- Investigation and reporting of minor infractions.
Requirement Include:
- Minimum, 21 years of age; high school diploma or GED;
- U.S. citizenship with no felony convictions;
- Successful completion of a Physical Examination, Drug Screen, Background, Credit Check, Polygraph, and in-house Agility;
- Public Safety Position employment application must be submitted.
