Frederick County Fire & Rescue Department
Rapid Intervention Team Training House

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!! (literally!)

On October 14, 2010, the Frederick County Fire and Rescue Department entered into contract with the Frederick County Public School System to construct a house for the fire and rescue training. This house replaces the original house utilized by the Training Division for over 4 years at the County's landfill. The Carpentry class of Dowell J. Howard will begin construction of the building at the school in late October, with a Spring 2011 delivery. Once completed, the building will be moved to the Winchester/ Frederick County Regional Training Center. We will be updating this page with photos of the construction and look forward to the completion of this project.

For more information, email Lt. Kelly Whitacre or contact by phone (540) 665-6388.
