Finance Committee

The Finance Committee generally meets at 8:00 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the First Floor Conference Room in the County Administration Complex at 107 N. Kent Street, Winchester, VA 22601.

The Finance Committee is comprised of four board members and three citizen members appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. The Committee deals primarily with financial matters referred to them by the Board of Supervisors and/or the County Administrator. The Finance Committee also conducts the preliminary review of the County budget and prepares same for presentation to the Board of Supervisors. Appointments to the Committee are for a one-year term.
