Special Olympics with FCPRD provides training and athletic competition for children (ages 8+) and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The following programs are designed to foster involvement in organized sports. Each sport will have a competitive component as well as a skills component so that all registered athletes will have an opportunity to take part in the sport. Athletes are to report to the first practice for assessment, coaches will then advise the athlete specific practice times to report for the sport.
New athletes must complete the Special Olympic paperwork (call 665-5678 for this paperwork) in order to register with FCPRD. Returning athletes are responsible for updating their Special Olympic paperwork and registering with FCPRD. Athletes are expected to adhere to a Code of Conduct which will be distributed the first practice.
