Frederick County Committee Vacancies
The Frederick County Board of Supervisors is seeking candidates to fill the following committee vacancies:
The primary function of the Transportation Committee is to assist the Board of Supervisors in managing the county transportation system by transportation planning and reviewing transportation related items and projects which fall under the purview of the Board of Supervisors. This includes, but is not limited to, the Virginia Department of Transportation Six Year Program, lead transportation planning initiatives related to the Comprehensive Plan or other county planning efforts such as the Eastern Road Plan Updates, Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Updates, and Transportation Section of the Capital Improvements Plan and Project Prioritization. Appointments are made by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for a one year term. The Transportation Committee meets the fourth Monday of each month, 8:30 A.M., at the County Administration Building, 107 North Kent Street.
